OUR HISTORY

White Cap has a rich history built from understanding the needs of professional contractors. The company started in 1976 offering a single product – White Cap – a PVC expansion water stop and control joint used around swimming pool decks. The company expanded by asking customers what else they needed for their jobs, and added the first suppliers Marshalltown, Skil, and Bosch.

This model of building relationships with Pro Contractors and stocking the products they needed is the foundation success at White Cap. Along the way, we have found other companies to join our team, some with legacies going back over 100 years and customer relationships spanning generations.
