Pope John Paul II High School

Pope John Paul II Preparatory School opened its doors in August of 2002 as Pope John Paul II High Schooland quickly became one of the best private academic institutions in the state. In the fall of 2021, we incorporated a middle school, adding grades 6th-8th. Pope Prep offers a range of innovative programs that are setting a vision for the future of Catholic college preparatory schools. At just over 750 students, we are the second-largest private prep school in Nashville, and we are designed to meet the potential growth of Middle Tennessee. 

We believe that God calls each student to a deeper union with Him. Our school, rooted in the Catholic faith and open to students of all faith traditions, calls students to excellence and invites them to study and live out their faith in service to the world beyond themselves.
