Modular Designs is a privately held, small business, which provides and installs commercial floor covering. Located in Nashville, TN with services extending nationwide, we assist with design, product selection, estimation, and installation of carpet, resilient, and ceramic flooring, as well as concrete resurfacing.

Modular Designs has been quietly replacing carpet in occupied offices for over twenty years and we clearly understand the importance of minimizing disruption to your work. We lift the furniture less than an inch, remove the existing carpet, and install your new carpet tile. Our team consists of great installers that understand furniture and furniture systems so we don’t interrupt the work process or disrupt your office. Furniture is returned to its original position without disturbing electrical, data, or phone connections. We eliminate virtually all employee downtime and since the work is done after hours, there is no disassembly of workstations or disconnection of cables.

• Removal of existing carpet to Owner’s dock/dumpster
• Removal of existing pad
• Normal floor preparation
• “Levitate” systems furniture, lift conventional furniture
• Installation of new carpet
• Installation of typical transition strips
• Nightly cleanup and vacuuming
• Hazard free temporary transitions between affected areas
• Daily walk-through of each area with quick resolution of any problem
• All lodging and travel costs

• Elevator service for installations above ground floor
• Minimum temperature of 70 degrees F in affected areas
