Fat Boy’s BBQ is a family-owned, family-friendly restaurant. Tony Roney, our pit master, grew up in the Cane Ridge community and comes by his passion for barbecue naturally: a long life of simply firing up the grill to hone his country culinary skills. He was often called on to cook for events and family reunions around town. Though extremely partial to Middle Tennessee, Tony has learned that great BBQ is found in a lot of places – Memphis, Montgomery, Kansas City – why even from such far and away places as North Carolina and Texas.
Tony Roney knows barbecue and the MENU at Fat Boy’s contains a wide range of delectable entrees to choose from. And every so often the cooks in the kitchen will serve up a brand new dish made from scratch.
All of our food, from sauces to sides, is made fresh every day, except Sunday. We are closed on Sundays to go to church – and the pit master needs his rest!
